Ingredients
- 2 (8-inch) whole wheat tortillas (approx. 60g each)
- 100g smoked turkey breast, thinly sliced
- 70g 2% milk fat cream cheese, softened
- 30g shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of black pepper
- 2 cups mixed greens (for serving)
Instructions
- Prep: Lay tortillas flat. In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chives, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Spread a thin, even layer of the cheese mixture over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Layer half of the smoked turkey slices over the cheese mixture on each tortilla.
- Starting from one edge, tightly roll each tortilla into a log.
- Using a sharp knife, slice each roll into 6-8 pinwheels (approximately 1-inch thick).
- Serve immediately with a side of mixed greens.
- Top tip: For a firmer pinwheel, wrap the rolled tortillas tightly in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
