Ingredients
- 500g 0% fat Greek Yogurt
- 60g Whey protein powder (vanilla or unflavoured)
- 2 medium Red Apples, thinly sliced
- 40g Low-sugar Honey Granola
- 20g Slivered Almonds (toasted)
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Honey or Agave syrup
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
Instructions
- Prep: Slice the apples into thin wedges and toss them in a bowl with half the cinnamon and the lemon juice.
- Place the apple slices in an air fryer basket or on a baking tray; air fry at 180°C (or bake in the oven) for 8-10 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt and protein powder until completely smooth and creamy.
- In a small dry pan over the hob on medium heat, lightly toast the slivered almonds for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
- Divide the high-protein yogurt mixture between two serving bowls.
- Layer the warm roasted apple slices over the yogurt, then top evenly with the granola and toasted slivered almonds.
- Drizzle the honey over the top and finish with a final dusting of the remaining cinnamon.
- Top tip: Use a serrated knife to slice your apples extra thin so they caramelize faster and create a beautiful fan-like presentation on top of your yogurt bowl!
